2. Its Such A Huge Brand
You rarely hear the same controversy levelled at other gaming franchises, do you? I mean, you might hear something about Assassins Creed here, or about Dead Space there, but with most other titles, were talking relatively isolated incidents. However, by now, GTA is nothing short of a superbrand; its bigger and more lucrative than most other AAA titles on the market, and when a game is demanding that much of the publics attention, its bound to generate that much more controversy. GTA is so famously controversial that reproachful eyes are already tracking the progress of the fifth instalment, you can probably bet money on it, already forming their arguments and readying their concerned rage for the moment its released. Its inevitable a primary reason that, even now way before its released, its already guaranteed to be controversial.
