GTA V: 25 Radio Stations That Should Be Included

23. Disco & Boogie

Example name: Viva Fever

An improbably choice for consideration, but if K109 can rule the dance floor in Liberty City then surely there's room to boogie in Los Santos. Even though disco has a large backlash throughout the years, it remained popular with the gay community and even had a valid presence in The Ballad of Gay Tony. Nonetheless, I can't help but sense Rockstar have moved away from the brief flirtation with the LBGT culture and will revert back to thuggish rap-loving stereotypes with the African-American Franklin as a playable character.

Playlist suggestions: Ramona Brooks €“ I Don€™t Want You Back Donna Summer - I Feel Love Jimmy 'Bo' Horne - Spank Van McCoy & The Soul City Symphony - The Hustle Patrick Hernandez - Born To Be Alive The Pointer Sisters - I'm So Excited McFadden & Whitehead - Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now Love and Kisses - I Found Love (Now That I Found You) Jackie Moore - This Time Baby Chic - Good Times Sylvester - You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real) Bohannon - Let's Start the Dance Village People - San Francisco (You've Got Me) Chances of inclusion: 10%

24. Rock & Roll

Example name: The Rollercoaster

If this game was based in a different era, there'd be hope. I'm honestly of the opinion Mafia II has the finest licensed soundtrack of this entire gaming generation thus far and much of that is down to the 50s radio in the latter half of the game. Plenty of the greatest and well-known rock and rollers of the time were included, from pioneers like Chuck Berry to the youthful fledglings who perished in 'the day that music died'. If a future GTA decided to step back in time to the 50s or 60s then this is one style I would situate straight at the top of my list. Playlist suggestions: The Everly Brothers - Wake Up Little Susie Frankie Ford - Sea Cruise Little Richard - Ready Teddy Duane Eddy - Peter Gunn Theme Chubby Checker - The Twist Jerry Lee Lewis - Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On Chuck Berry - I Want To Be Your Driver Dale Hawkins - Susie Q Elvis Presley - Promised Land Bill Haley & His Comets - Mambo Rock Ritchie Valens - We Belong Together Carl Perkins - Matchbox The Coasters - Searchin' Chances of inclusion: 10%

25. Power Ballads

Example name: Tear-Jerkers 107

You could dispute that power ballads aren't a genre of their own, certainly not one noteworthy for GTA; just emotional love anthems from soft rock bands with loud and heartfelt choruses. However, they're almost compulsory to sing along with, despite their ridiculou cheesiness at their core. Rockstar deemed power ballads good enough for an individual showing in Vice City (and a welcome return in the Stories prequel), but odds of a venture outside of South Beach seem to be slim to none.

Playlist suggestions: Chicago - Hard to Say I'm Sorry Air Supply - Lost In Love Rita Coolidge - (Your Love Has Lifted Me) Higher and Higher Whitesnake - Is This Love Scorpions - Still Loving You Extreme - More Than Words Michael Jackson - Man In The Mirror Journey - Faithfully REO Speedwagon - In My Dreams Electric Light Orchestra - Don't Walk Away Carly Simon - Coming Around Again Chances of inclusion: 5% What do you think GTA V fans?
