5. An Afterlife Of Violence
The Story: A little hot for heaven isnt it? What appears to be a generic quest for power and money in a world of crime turns in to a journey of self-approval as you progressively learn (you, not the character) that he is actually in an afterlife of his own design to help him let go of the issues that have plagued him. Flashbacks teach us that he was forced to do terrible things or risk his family being murdered and this whole game takes place in his own personal afterlife which he uses to come to terms with what he did and reap vengeance on the man who controlled and ruined his life.
Awesome Moment:He beats his demons and absolves himself of his sins, coming to peace with himself.
Good Points About This Story: Its deep. Like; really deep, bringing in thoughts of morality and the nature of people it would be one of the biggest character study in a video game...Ever. Rockstars thirst for controversy can take it to the nature of religion; hence inclusion of cult Kifflom.
