4. GTA V On Next-Gen Consoles And PC

One of the biggest questions on gamer's minds about GTA V is whether or not it will come out on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. My money is on that it will.
Rockstar hasn't denied it simply stating: "We don't have anything to share about the possibility of a next-gen or a PC platform release at this time and we are completely focused on delivering the best possible experience for the consoles people have right now." This is true to an extent, Rockstar most likely have been solely working on the current console versions, but they certainly will have something to share. If Rockstar Games is in the money making business (Which it is) there will definitely be a release on next-gen platforms and PC. Why? Because there is a boatload of more money to be made to add on to the already huge profits GTA V will make. Then why you ask, have they not said there will be? Business, people. If Rockstar came out today and said Grand Theft Auto V will come to Xbox One, PS4, and PC sometime in January, would you still wait in line at midnight on September 17th to buy it for PS3 or Xbox 360? Some of you would (I still would, I'm not nearly that patient) but then again, some of you would hold off right? GTA V would still rake in massive profits in its first few months, but not nearly as big as possible. So, when Take Two Interactive goes to report their earnings for their Fiscal third quarter which ends on December 31st, 2013 they would have a smaller profit than expected with a blockbuster like GTA V being released during that time, which would cause their stock value to go down. Breaking News: Rockstar (Or more Take Two) isn't stupid. Here's how things will most likely work. Once the game is released a smaller team at Rockstar will work on porting GTA V to the new consoles. Since the next-gen consoles and the PC's architecture are very similair the two versions will go basically hand in hand. Rockstar will complete the ports and announce their existence sometime after the end of fiscal Q3 on December 31st, 2013. Rockstar will announce their long awaited arrival will come sometime before the end of their Fiscal Year 2013 on March 31st, 2014. The exact date will probably be in March considering the PC port of GTA IV took about seven months from its release on consoles to the PC release (April-December) and September 17 to March whatever is roughly six. Rockstar is doing this for two reasons: One to maximize its profits on the current consoles, and two being that some people will purchase it twice across the different platforms which could possibly double profits. Rockstar knows the demand is there (Over 300,000 people have
signed a petition to bring GTA V to PC) and they will supply. Probability: Very Likely
