London's organised crime scene is a lot less publicised than America's - which has earned near-legendary status thanks to the number of Hollywood films revolving around the mob, African-American street gangs, and so on. But that's exactly why it'd be fascinating to shine a light on London's well-concealed criminal underbelly. Sure, there can be some interaction with old-fashioned cockney gangster types (who are pretty much an extinct species these days), but the game could also focus on Turkish and Russian mafia, and Bangladeshi and council estate street gangs. The criminal underworlds of international mafia organisations and street gangs are worlds apart from each other, of course, so Rockstar could utilise its multiple-protagonist approach to show characters coming together from disparate backgrounds of London's crime scene.
