GTA VI Predictions: 10 Things We Expect To See
1. VR Features
GTA VI isn't going to be a full on virtual reality game. As fun as it would be to get the real life experience of driving a sports car at top speed while firing a machine gun, all without the looming threat of death or arrest, it would be wildly unpractical for now. The costs of all those VR accessories, not to mention the difficulties of making every element of the game VR compatible, would be astronomical. But the next generation's capacity for VR means Rockstar will certainly include elements of it in the games somewhere.
Virtual or augmented reality could appear in sidequests or minigames meaning players can enjoy getting deeper into their favourite universe without needed a myriad of costly accessories to play the core game. Pool or bowling, tennis and in-game video games could include elements of the latest technology while it could also play a key role in enjoying those lovingly-crafted environments. A VR cruise or plane ride through the GTA world sounds great. At least until a rogue gang members opens fire and ruins the ambience.
