4. Railgun
This is probably the most interesting weapon on the list, because it's really difficult to tell exactly how it's going to be used. This gun has been shown as something that can easily one-shot players, yet doesn't destroy vehicles with only a few shots. It's almost like a Gauss cannon with slightly less firepower. If there's anything the Halo community is known for, it's ingenuity. A weapon like this could definitely spawn some interesting strategies on the battlefield. I'm very curious as to the long-range capabilities of this weapon, because I can definitely see this being a substitute for the Spartan Laser if its range is great enough. From the footage shown, it doesn't seem to have as long of a charging time as the Laser does, which is a huge advantage over the Splaser. We'll have to wait to play the game to see how useful it is, but I have a feeling it's going to be awesome. The footage of players being blasted away by this thing is enough to make me want it in my loadout.
