HBO's The Last Of Us - 5 PERFECT Actors For Joel & Ellie

If you've seen Stranger Things -- which, if you're a human being living in the 21st century, you have -- you'll recognize Sadie Sink. She plays Max, the tomboyish late recruit to the Hawkins monster-hunting party, and little sister to beautiful bastard, Billy Hargrove.

It would've been easy to put her Stranger Things co-star, Millie Bobby Brown, on this list, instead. It's not lost on us that Ellie is just a couple letters away from Eleven, too.

Now, there's absolutely nothing wrong with Millie Bobby Brown as an actress or as a person, but for our money, Sadie Sink would make a better Ellie.

We've seen that not only can she exhibit a sensitive, vulnerable side, but that she's also got a quality that's crucial for Ellie: she's scrappy. After all, she very nearly castrated her brother with a nail-riddled baseball bat, and while he had it coming, it was... well... aggressive.

You know who else should know how to swing a baseball bat full of nails?

Ellie. That's who.

Sink is young enough to play Ellie without the viewer having to suspend disbelief. All she needs is a bit of hair dye, and voila: A perfect casting.
