Injustice 2: 7 Crucial Pro Tips The Game Doesn't Tell You
1. Picking A Main
To end this list, I thought I'd leave you with more of a general piece of advice than a technical explanation. Because there's no way I could create a list or robust enough to properly convey how advanced fighting games can get. I mean, I didn't even cover hyper armour, footsies, throws, whiffs, move cancelling... I swear these are all real terms, by the way.
However, if there is one piece of advice I could offer, it's pick one character, and stick with them.
Test them all out first, try all their special moves, and then for the love of god just pick one.
Injustice 2 has 28 characters in its base roster, with a total of 10 DLC characters on the way. Whilst it is important you learn the strengths and weaknesses of all, you have to try and perfect at least one if you're going to stand a chance. That means learning all their combos, collecting all their gear pieces, and learning how to defend against their weaknesses.
In short, if you're a first-timer jumping into Injustice because you love the DC universe or you saw all the great review scores, don't feel dismayed if you're getting trounced at first.
Losing is in itself a learning experience, and can only serve to make you better at the game in the long run.
