5. Presentation Is Fantastic

"On a technical level, there's plenty to admire about Injustice 2's story mode. You get to play as most of the cast, the motion capture is solid and the action choreography occasionally superb. The voice acting is consistently great, too...Graphically, Injustice 2 is a significant step up from 2013's Injustice: Gods Among Us, which was hamstrung by the previous generation of consoles. Some of the stages, such as Kahndaq, are stunning. And the character detail is second to none...NetherRealm has really outdone itself with Injustice 2's facial animations. Pretty much all of the characters look the part...Supergirl, Brainiac, Harley Quinn and Black Canary are the best of the bunch." - Eurogamer
"Everything about it is leagues above the first title...The presentation overall is more dynamic, and that dynamism shines through the most with its mo-cap facial animations...Injustice 2's face animations have been a point of contention in the weeks leading up to its release, but they're pretty damn great...This series no longer feels like some quirky side project with a few voices fans would remember, but now is a capable extension of the comics." - Destructoid
"The heroes and villains of the DC Universe look better here than they have in any game before." - IGN

Despite the pre-release controversy regarding some of the character models, there's round praise for the final retail build's overall presentation. The menus, characters, animations and environments have all received effusive praise from most outlets, and to the relief of many, the voice work has also been deemed a significant improvement from the solid-but-forgettable first game's array of performances.

As if that wasn't enough, the HUD and menus have been given the thumbs up from several reviewers, ensuring that Injustice 2 looks set to be one of the slickest fighting game productions in quite some time.
