6. Aquaman Has Been Given A Movie-Inspired Redesign

Oh, Aquaman, you've never really been given the best costumes have you?

Thankfully, the golden fish scales of yesteryear have been done away with, as NetherRealm have appeared to opt for a visual approach far more in keeping with Jason Mamoa's costume in the DCEU, rather than the Atlantean King's bright and colourful roots.

Obviously, classic costumes will feature as alternate skins (fingers crossed for the 'harpoon hand' of Peter David's run on the character), but as a base design this functions rather nicely.

You have to admire the level of detail that has gone into Arthur Curry's design this time around, especially in the way it organically transforms overtime as opposed to the more mechanical depictions of Batman and The Flash's evolving gear.

I mean, who doesn't want to ride into battle with a giant crustacean on their shoulder? Nobody, that's who.
