6. Up: Ace Boss Battles
Boss battles are key (get it?) for Kingdom Hearts, and thankfully they're great here.
Just like in previous games in the series, you get a mix between battling Organisation members, special Heartless and a few Disney characters.
Special Heartless battles make up most of the final bosses for the Disney worlds and they're all really great. They're designed well, and none of them are particularly frustrating either. The Frozen boss battle is certainly a highlight.
As you'd expect from the final game in a saga, there are a lot of boss battles towards the end of the game, and they're actually one of the highlights of the whole experience. You get some pretty crazy match-ups here, in terms of heroes and villains and it really goes all out.
A few more Disney boss battles would have been great, but the Heartless fights are great enough.
That final boss fight is probably the best in the entire series.
