League of Legends North American LCS Summer Split Analysis: Week 7

2. Team Vulcun (12-7)

Team Vulcun Team Vulcun had one of its worst weeks yet sadly. They went 1-2 this week, losing to TSM Snapdragon and Counter Logic Gaming and only beating a struggling Team Coast. They seemed to change up their style of play a bit, and it did not work out for them. AD carry Zuna did not play his usual late game hyper carries, which made him, in my opinion, less effective. They tried too hard to make their composition look more like Cloud Nine's, and it worked in the first game. However, their performances were not as crisp and solid as usual. Top lane player Sycho Sid made one great performance on Shen against Team Coast, going 6/1/14. This was followed by a decent performance on Zac against TSM Snapdragon (3/3/6) and a less than average game on Shen against Counter Logic Gaming (2/7/8). Mid lane player mancloud is the rock of the team. He always plays well, whether it is a win or a loss. In their win over Team Coast, he went 5/3/15 on Twisted Fate, and in their loss against TSM, he went 5/2/8 on Ahri. Even in their worst showing against CLG, he went 5/5/9 on Orianna, which is still a .5 kill to death ratio. mancloud never plays badly. Jungler Xmithie started his week strong on Nunu against Team Coast (5/2/18), but he followed it up with a 1/5/7 Nasus against TSM and a 1/4/12 Nunu against CLG. Consistency could strengthen his overall performance. AD carry Zuna played well in all of his games this week despite not playing on his usual late game champions. In two games as Ashe, Zuna went 14/9/19 as the main initiator. He rounded his week up with an 8/5/2 game on Twitch against CLG. Stone-faced support BloodWater looked out of place in the composition. His Zyra play was decent, but it was not as effective as LemonNation's. His Thresh play was only average.
