League of Legends North American LCS Summer Split Analysis: Week 7

T-3. TSM Snapdragon (10-10)

TSM Snapdragon TSM Snapdragon has a long way to reach the #1 spot they clinched in last split. However, if there is any team that can do it, it is these old timers. TSM looked a bit lost earlier in this split, but they finally climbed and struggled their way back to a .5 record. These veterans seem to be struggling to adapt to a very quickly changing game, but this week, they showed that experience can have an impact. They went 2-1 this week, beating Team Vulcun and Team Dignitas and only losing to top contender Cloud Nine. They are tied for third place in the LCS, as they slowly return to form as the Team Solomid everyone recognizes. Top lane player Dyrus put up three solid performances as usual after a less than stellar week six. His 6/7/10 game on Jayce against Team Dignitas was better played than the KDA shows, his 5/3/7 Rumble against Team Vulcun helped propel the team with a double kill in the first few minutes, and his 5/2/4 Renekton against Cloud Nine was the best on the team for that game. Mid lane player Reginald struggled heavily this week; his 1/6/7 Orianna contributed greatly to their loss against Cloud Nine. His KDA for the week was 6/14/17, and we still await Regi to step his game up. Jungler TheOddOne was a breakout performer for TSM this week. His 3/1/8 Nasus against Team Dignitas and 5/2/5 Elise against Team Vulcun contributed heavily to those victories. When he plays well, TheOddOne has the potential to carry the whole team. AD carry WildTurtle played decently this week, with a final KDA of 13/12/17. Nine of those kills were picked up on Twitch, which I want to see him play more often. Support Xpecial is always a solid performer. Against Team Dignitas, he went 1/0/10 on Lulu, which is a perfect support game.
