5. There Will Be Hundreds Of Gags And Easter Eggs

Even in the short amount of gameplay time I saw and played, the level of background gags and little Star Wars lore nods (like characters standing around in the background, or mouse droids buzzing around incidentally) is insane.

Goring says he writes in gags and then the designers add their own elements (to the point that he thinks he may have discovered a Dark Souls Easter Egg that someone has added sneakily in another part of the game).

You really get the sense that Goring loves his job and the opportunities he's had (from writing for Harrison Ford to simply being part of the LEGO gaming team), and his enthusiasm and the amount of time he had to add gloss (and more detail) means you're going to be finding lots of Easter Eggs long into playtime.
