Marvel's Avengers: 5 Major Concerns Square Enix Must Address

1. The Live Service Elements

So, apparently there will be no loot boxes or pay-to-win elements in the game and that all DLC will be free, but that doesn't mean that the live service elements will leave a bad taste in the mouth.

Even microtransactions that only allow you to buy cosmetic items can be done in non consumer friendly ways; skins for characters could be given exorbitant prices (despite the game itself being full price) or a paid-for Fortnite-style battle pass could be implemented (again, despite the game being full price).

Basically, the worry is not the nature of the microtransactions that will be available, but rather the pricing of them could be prohibitive. Who's to say that all the cosmetics won't be locked behind a pay-wall?

The game has to make money somehow. Here's hoping there are still free unlockables in the game itself...
