3. Taskmaster Makes An Appearance

Taskmaster isn't one of Marvel's more famous characters, but he did already make an appearance in Spider-Man PS4. He's a side-character who comes to test the wall-crawler, but he leaves once Peter refuses his offer to join a team with a "six figure salary" - could that team be the one behind the events of A-Day?
It's important to note that while Taskmaster's design differs between the Avengers and Spider-Man PS4, we can chalk that up to artistic license. It doesn't necessarily mean that the two games aren't interlinked.
Irrespective of any perceived connections to Insomniac's game, Taskmaster has now made back-to-back appearances in two major Marvel games.
It remains to be seen who he's working for, and the character's list of associates in the comics makes it difficult to speculate on an exact name. Either way, he's here, and he's looking as threatening as ever.
