4. San Fransisco Is Completely Deserted

So, unfortunately the Terrigen explosion doesn't seem to have imbued everyone with powers. In fact it looks as though the Golden City is really quite desolate, complete with an overcast hue that makes it look like America's very own exclusion zone.

In the comics, we've seen the Avengers come up against the government time and again, but never over something quite on this scale. The destruction of a major US city is more than enough cause for the Avengers to never band together again, and it certainly outranks the disasters that befell the team in the Civil War comic and later its cinematic adaptation.

One can only wonder if the Avengers will be able to rebuild San Fran, but for now - five years after the events of A-Day - it's effectively an American wasteland.
