Kai Leng was a bit of a rubbish villain. Comically two-dimensional (ignoring the fact that there was a comic series that went into more detail), Kai Leng felt a bit out of place as a cheesy sword-wielding cyber-ninja. Leng works for Cerberus, and acts as a recurring antagonist in Mass Effect 3. Near the final climax of the game, Shepard and crew encounters Leng for the final time, managing to overcome him in combat during a challenging boss fight. While Shepard taps into the Illusive Man's systems, an injured Leng slowly approaches from behind, attempting to stab the Commander in the back. As the blade comes down, renegade Shepard quickly spins and snaps it in half, before stabbing Leng with the omniblade. It's one of Shepard's final awesome moments, with the combination of incredible skill, remarkable instincts and ruthless efficiency making it the most badass of all.
