6. Bioware's Character Animation Has Been Fully Revamped
Across the last generation of consoles, we spent most of our time being thoroughly wowed by just how awesome taking part in fully-voiced conversations and interactions looked, that we didn't mind the occasionally stilted animation or sped-up transition between lines. However, it only took Dragon Age: Inquisition running on newer hardware to bring into sharp relief just how behind the times Bioware's engine had become with regards to the competition, and as such, they've reportedly gone back to the drawing board for Andromeda. All-new facial tech is reportedly a big selling point for ME 4, with character animation across the board being fleshed out and - assumedly - more regularly motion-captured, rather than the occasional hand-animated sequences that stuck out by comparison.
