5. Your New Ship - The Tempest

This is almost definitely The Tempest, as mentioned in the leak fans got their hands on earlier in the year. It certainly looks like a pretty slick, immediately iconic design that could alternate between a firing mode (when the back parts are extended) and a more streamlined, speed-of-light variety whenever you need to get the hell outta Dodge. The Normandy is already a tough act to follow (especially considering its re-introduction scene in ME2 remains one of the finest moments in the trilogy), but with the look of this vessel and the already-imposing name of 'The Tempest', I'll happily pilot this thing with pride. Another point to note is that the returning Mako vehicle is visible as you're walking through the new ship from its above inner balcony (there are apparently multiple balconies to the gigantic hull), meaning Bioware really want you to form something of a bond with the vehicle itself.
