Mass Effect 5: 10 Fan Demands We Need To See

There was only one questline that was directly tied to the original trilogy in Andromeda, and it was the best mission in the entire game.

So while it's impossible to return to the world of the original trilogy for a sequel, there's no reason why the franchise needs to pretend that it didn't happen.

Characters and events from those titles still exist in this universe, and if Bioware let players feel their impact in future games it could go a long way in making them feel like part of a larger universe.

The sequel doesn't need to be anchored down to the lore of the first three titles and should obviously carve out its own distinct direction, but callbacks and links to the original games would reward the investment that fans have put into this franchise over the last decade.
