4. Game Opens In The Milky Way, Then Goes To Andromeda (Two Timelines?)

Let's consider the fact that N7 armour isn't what our heroes wear on the other side of the journey. Instead, they're emblazoned with 'AI' symbols, but the 'father' character does still have an N7 logo on a breastplate, assumedly meaning that the teaser from 2015 - and his role in the story - takes place inside the Milky Way.

My assumption would be that Papa Ryder (as I'm calling him) authorises the mission to send his entire family to a new galaxy, before staying behind to defend against the Reaper invasion, as well as monitoring progress on his side.

This lines up with the description of an 'action-packed level' that was described as being near the beginning of the game back in January, and if you connect the dots, could see the father die during the Reaper invasion - which we play from an entirely new perspective - before the children then wake up in Andromeda, unaware of anything that's happened back home.
