6. Excellent Pacing

Try not to be disappointed when I tell you that, even with the game's plentiful cut-scenes, Revengeance is a might shorter than the rest of the games in the series, clocking in at around 6-7 hours. However, by the time you finish off the final boss and put the controller down for the last time, it won't have felt that short; this game is so manically chaotic that it feels pretty long. A combination of flashy visuals, stirring rock music and the game simply throwing more and more enemies at Raiden will certainly keep you busy; you won't have much downtime during the game's campaign, and will need to keep your wits about you. As the game ends, a feeling of satisfaction came over me, the game not running a minute longer than it should have - given its relatively limited gameplay mechanics - though naturally, its brief campaign time will mean that to most players it's probably not worth the launch retail price.
