2. What Causes Big Boss' Coma?
The bridge between Ground Zeroes and the Phantom Pain is nine years, but what happened in the first place to damage Big Boss so much that he lost a whole nine years of his life in a coma? What we know about Ground Zeroes so far is that Big Boss is sent into a large enemy camp governed over by a damn sexy gentleman known as Skull Face. We know hardly anything else about it at the moment, but it appears that something that happens here will be the catalyst that sets up Big Boss losing his arm and entering a coma for the best part of a decade. It's also extremely intriguing to see how much life will change in the 9 years between Big Boss' absence. With the biggest thorn in their side now removed, the Patriots have free reign to shape the world. They also now have the sons of Big Boss as a bargaining chip, and the fate of all other characters in the Metal Gear series remains a mystery as well.
