Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes - 11 Easter Eggs True Fans Will Love

2. Alternate Skins

After completing the Deja Vu mission - which is again exclusive to the PlayStation versions of the game - with every flashback found, you can exit the mission properly. As usual upon completing a mission, you are brought to the rewards screen, but this time you are forced to take a quiz testing your knowledge on Metal Gear Solid. There are two difficulties to take the test on; Normal and Hard. The test that you are given is determined by the difficulty you are playing on. If at any point you get a question wrong, the test is instantly failed and can only be retried by completing the Deja Vu mission again, along with finding the 7 flashbacks. These tests are definitely worth completing however as you get alternate skins for each difficulty. Completing the test on Normal unlocks a pixelated outfit of Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid, while completing the mission on Hard unlocks a similar outfit, but for Frank Jaeger, the Cyborg Ninja. You can then replay the Deja Vu mission with these alternate outfits to find even more hidden content and references. Most notably, the guards of Camp Omega are replaced with the Genome Soldiers from Metal Gear Solid, and that the Cyborg Ninja could sprint twice as fast while also emitting electricity from his exoskeleton.
