Monster Hunter: World - 10 Best Armour Sets You Must Unlock
8. Kushala
Weapon sharpness is important, folks. You wouldn't expect to be slicing and dicing the veggies wielding a blunt kitchen knife and take it from us, Monster Hunter: World's wildlife has many more layers than a fleshy onion to cut through.
That being the case, prioritizing armour perks that provide boosts (indirectly or otherwise) to sharpness is essential, especially for bladed archetypes that dull the fastest. It won't be accessible until close to the end of the campaign, but as soon as Kushala Daora is unlocked, farm the ever-living hell out of it until you've enough materials stocked for at least four pieces. This will unlock a maxed Handicraft perk, exponentially boosting sharpness.
It won't break the cap, mind, but given that many of World's endgame weapons don't reach their maximum sharpness naturally, equipping Kushala's set is the best way to do so. For some gear, this will open up 'white sharpness', the best grade that adds a whopping great damage modifier on top of a weapon's base power.
Oh, and don't forget, either, that the Evade Extender/Window skills are attached to this Elder set, upping dodge distance and invulnerability frames respectively.
Bargain.
