A low rarity rating it may have, but don't let that arbitrary number fool you, the heavy plate armour forged from World's fearsome Anjanath provides some of the best perks for ranged weapon users and has terrific fire defence to boot.

Artillery and Special Ammo Boost, both of which come at their highest possible level by default, bolster the power of all explosive ammo types (Wyvern's Fire, sticky ammo, etc.) and the strength of Bowgun special ammo/bow's Dragon Piercer respectively.

Alone, they're worth seeking out the shopping list of crafting materials for, but together? The damage increase is too good to ignore.

If you're still on the fence, do note that donning four or more pieces of the set will unlock the Anjanath Will perk, expanding the stamina gauge beyond its usual cap. The perfect remedy to those energy-draining arrow flurries.
