Mortal Kombat X: 10 Legendary Characters Yet To Be Announced
4. Stryker
Kind of like watching The Punisher get stuck in to save the day amongst a slew of people with superpowers dancing all manner of life-saving shapes around him, Stryker's arsenal of pistols, grenades, electric-shockers and brutal close-quarters takedowns endear him to many, just out of not fitting the standard MK mould. Although messing with the core timeline following MK9 has remixed exactly what happened between games, Stryker was (in the real world) introduced in MK 3, making MK X's reworked visit to the events of that game perfect for his return. In-game Stryker gives both the player and NetherRealm themselves a breath of fresh air Fatality-wise, forcing the developers to keep up the same level of showmanship and pure fun that the end-round gore-a-thons always are, yet with human weaponry and abilities. 2011 saw him straight up just blast peoples' heads apart with a stupidly powerful pistol, and more of that might just be exactly what's needed ordered.
