The roster updates are always a big reason why true fans get sports games every year. This year is no exception because some of the biggest names switched teams. What's also cool is the ability to use rookies on their new teams. Andrew Wiggins was the #1 overall pick in the draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. They traded him over to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Kevin Love trade. If you're a Cavs hater that wants to prove they made a mistake, you could use Wiggins in a season and see how far you can take his Wolves or maybe just do a fantasy draft with him. In addition to Wiggins, another star is Jabari Parker of the Bucks, who is pictured above. He's going to have a huge impact on the Bucks right away. It's expected that Wiggins or Parker will be Rookie of the Year because they will be the focal points of their teams right away, but you never really know what might happen. There are some other rookies to keep an eye on including Joel Embiid of the 76ers, Aaron Gordon of the Magic, Marcus Smart of the Celtics, Dante Exum of the Jazz and Julius Randle of the Lakers. Don't be surprised if Wiggins or Parker is on the cover of this game as soon as NBA2K16 next year or one of the seasons soon after that. The updated rosters are always nice, but it's even more fun when a great rookie class comes into the league and that's exactly what we might be getting this year. Believe in the hype. It's real.
