The most controversial player on this list, DeMarcus Cousins, makes the roster because of his numbers - despite playing just half a season for the team, he has the best averages from all of the centers that ever played for the New Orleans Hornets/Pelicans.
This is as much a sign of the futility of the Pelicans as it is of Boogie's enormous talent. Apart from him, Evans, Anderson or Brown are players that wouldn't make the cut for a more storied, older franchise.
With prime Chris Paul, who was able to turn Tyson Chandler into an offensive weapon, Anthony Davis would be almost unstoppable. The two are enough to pose a pick-and-roll threat to any team in the NBA, while Stojakovic, Anderson and Gordon are capable of knocking down a three pointer from any place on the court.
