12. New York Knicks
Centers: Patrick Ewing, Willis Reed
Forwards: Bill Bradley, Charles Oakley, Bernard King, Jerry Lucas, Dave DeBuschere, Carmelo Anthony
Guards: Walt Frazier, Mark Jackson, Earl Monroe, Allan Houston, John Starks
Starting lineup: Ewing, Reed, King, Monroe, Frazier
The Knicks may be a huge disappointment in the 2000s, however they're still one of the most recognizable basketball teams ever.
Obviously location is partially responsible for the team's popularity, yet the Knicks were also one of the better teams in the 70's and 90's. Apart from Jackson and Anthony, every player on this team at least reached the NBA Finals.
The starting lineup consists of two equally impressive centers, a great scorer and a well-oiled backcourt of two complementary players. All in all, the Knicks are a great combination of rebounders, scorers and passers.
