Guards: Steve Nash, Walter Davis, Kevin Johnson, Dan Majerle, Paul Westphal, Dick Van Arsdale, Jason Kidd
Starting lineup: Stoudamire, Barkley, Kidd, Johnson, Nash
The Suns were one of the first teams to play three guards at once during long stretches with Johnson, Kidd and Rex Chapman. Now, while their starting line-up may also feature Hawkins or Marion, they should probably go small as well.
Nash was the two-time MVP, so his presence in the lineup is a no-brainer. Kevin Johnson was the Suns' floor general for over a decade and Kidd led the league in assists per game for three years in a row as a member of the team.
Apart from them, the Suns have ever more historical guards, who can make the difference whenever put on the floor. The problem is the frontcourt, which lacks a truly dominant big man, especially on the defensive end.
