The Blazers were NBA Champions just once, in 1977, but Ben Walton is the only player from that roster worthy of a spot here, despite others having their numbers retired by the team. The reason for their exclusion is that their statistics pale in comparison to other, greater Blazers.
The team had particularly bad luck when it came to injuries and this is reflected by this list as well: Brandon Roy and Geoff Petrie are two great players, who had to retire early because of health issues.
All three centers were also subject to heavy injuries, which hindered their potential. Despite these issues, the Blazers all-time team is very well balanced and deep. They also shouldn't have a problem with staying healthy.
