NBA 2K19 MyGM: 30 Franchise-Saving Trades You Must Make
15. Miami Heat
Players Out (position, rating, contract value/length, age):
Goran Dragic (PG, 84, $18.11m/1+1P, 32)
Players In (Milwaukee Bucks):
Eric Bledsoe (PG, 81, $15m/1, 28), Malcolm Brogdon (PG, 79, $1.54m/1, 25)
Why:
In their current form, the Miami Heat are a go-nowhere franchise with little room for future growth. Their dire cap situation will improve only slightly in 2019-20, and with few legitimately tradeable assets on the books, the team may be forced to make some hard cuts.
Dragic is the Heat's go-to offensive weapon, and a fine NBA point guard, but there's no chance he'll decline his $19 million player option in season two. Bledsoe can do largely the same job on an expiring deal, while the developing Brogdon provides extra scoring with minimal financial outlay.
