NBA 2K19 MyGM: 30 Franchise-Saving Trades You Must Make
26. Chicago Bulls
Players Out (position, rating, contract value/length, age):
Robin Lopez (C, 77, $14.36m/1, 30), Denzel Valentine (SF, 74, $2.28m/1, 24)
Players In (Los Angeles Lakers):
Rajon Rondo (PG, 77, $9m/1, 32)
Why:
Though players may want to hang onto Robin Lopez and Denzel Valentine's expiring deals until close to the trade deadline, both are expandable from day one, with rookie Wendell Carter Jr. ready to step into the former's void and Valentine unlikely to surge above his current level.
Rondo addresses the Bull's depth issues at PG, meaning Chicago won't have to rely on Cameron Payne whenever Kris Dunn isn't playing point. He'll bring only an incremental improvement, but at this stage, that's about as good as the Bulls can hope for.
