The Golden State Warriors have spent the past decade being rebuilt, and, more importantly, recentered around Stephen Curry. It's something that had been needed for years, with a newspaper headline in the late '90s reading 'Warriors Hit Rock Bottom'.

Curry has saved the team quite frankly.

Since joining the squad in 2009, Curry has been a two-time Most Valuable Player and a six-time All-Star, and also became the Scoring Champion in 2016 with 2,375 points. Alongside Klay Thompson, Curry is recognised as one half of 'The Splash Brothers', given the duo's success as it pertains to three-pointers. We could go on and on about the success Stephen has brought to the Warriors.

In saying all of this, you might be expecting the Warriors to have done well in the recent playoffs, especially considering they recently won the finals two years in a row during the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons. It's simply not the case, however, as they finished last season with a league-worst record of 15-50, meaning they missed the playoffs entirely for the first time since 2012.

Seeing as they have the second overall pick in the upcoming draft, the Warriors need to do something big in order to find that glory once more. Rumours suggest some big changes to the team's roster - including the loss of Andrew Wiggins.
