7. Brooklyn Nets - 75

Similarly to the Indiana Pacers, the Brooklyn Nets began their career in the ABA, where they found a good bit of success. That success didn't quite transfer over to the NBA immediately, however, as they went from winning the last NBA championship in the 1975/76 season to having the worst NBA record the season after. The loss of Julius Erving damaged them greatly.
While the Nets have been able to bounce back from their initial failings in the NBA, a huge part of which can be accredited to Jason Kidd, they're nowhere near as big a team as they were when they were in the ABA. Struggles in recent years have seen them regularly ousted in the opening round of the playoffs, the most recent of which came against the Toronto Raptors - they were swept in four straight games.
Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have done some decent work for the squad since joining the ranks, but there needs to be a major change made to the Nets' roster in the draft, especially if you want to justify their NBA 2K21 rating of 75.
How they're rated the same as half of this year's final is simply mind-boggling.
