Nintendo Switch: 10 Third-Party Franchises We Need To See
3. Rayman
Rayman Legends is not only the best Rayman game ever made (fight me), it's the liveliest game Ubisoft has put out since Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. It's charming, colorful, surprisingly challenging and it only grows more fun with each friend that picks up a controller. Could one produce a more perfect match for the Switch?
Ubisoft and Nintendo haven't always gotten along, but that didn't stop the Wii U version of Rayman Legends from trouncing every other platform. Nintendo is constantly preaching about building software that takes advantage of their hardware, but if you ask me, it was Legends that really got that murder weapon of a gamepad to sing. It's just plain intuitive to cut and pop and break items and platforms as you stumble and bumble through levels.
Can we get some of that on the Switch, please? It's even got those little co-op controllers, my palms be damned.
