5. Learn Alien Languages Quickly, As Long As You Can Be Patient

With three different alien races to interact with across the universe in No Man's Sky, there are also three distinctly different languages to learn to improve your interactions with each. It's not essential to attempt to understand these as you can generally bumble along with Atlas' help, but picking up more and more words in each alien language will make things easier for you.

There are a number of ways to pick these words up, but speaking to a member of each race will always be the most fruitful and the easiest to get through quickly. When you find an alien that brings up a set of dialogue options rather than a trading menu, you can continuously repeat these options to pick up a new word each time. If the new word option doesn't appear, simply take some fuel or a recharge and go back to start again.

It's said that there are approximately 400 words in each of the three alien languages, meaning this will take quite some work to do. However, since it only really takes the easy-to-come-by Carbon to enter, it's definitely the easiest way to boost your lexicon quickly.

Having more words in your alien vocabulary will help you in each encounter with a new member of each race, thus boosting your chances of successfully improving your standing with them and granting you access to better items and loot.
