4. New Hero: Sojourn
Heavily featured in the gameplay trailer and confirmed for release sometime in the near future, Sojourn is a highly anticipated character from the original Overwatch strike team that appears to be joining in their new incarnation.
Information for Sojourn has come in parts, from her first visual appearance quickly featured in Winston's Recall cinematic as well as in a group photo in Ana's backstory, and then eventually featuring heavily as a character in the Storm Rising event, though only her voice was presented at the time, along with a small icon.
It's likely that she will be officially introduced as a playable character along with the drop of the Toronto map, as footage of her in the gameplay trailer show her outfit bearing Canadian iconography.
Though no abilities have been revealed as of yet, a highlight intro in the same trailer show that she has one robotic arm that can unfold into some type of weapon, as well as a gun that looks similar in design to Widowmaker's sniper rifle.
It's exciting to see where this character leads Overwatch in terms of story, with her connection to the past meaning a whole lot for Overwatch's future.
