Overwatch: 5 Things You Need To Know About Ashe
1. She Was Part Of McCree’s Gang
McCree is a fairly popular character, maybe about to get even more so when players return to Overwatch after completing Red Dead Redemption 2. Players who go back to Overwatch will find McCree’s story is now deeper thanks to the arrival of Ashe.
Originally born into wealth, Ashe grew bored of her easy life. Her parents mostly ignored her and her only friend was B.O.B., who back then was her butler. Having any material possession you could ever wish for isn’t all that great when you’re raised by cold hearted CEOs.
Enter McCree. The two of them teamed up to help form the Deadlock Gang to run heists all across the American Southwest, ending up in a bloody war against the other gangs.
Where Ashe’s role in the story splits away from McCree’s is what comes next. Having learned a knack for business from her parents, Ashe saw that the gangs would be stronger united. By settling down a set of clear, Godfather like rules and punishing any who betrayed them, each of the gangs grew more powerful, and Elizabeth Caledonia ‘Calamity’ Ashe became an outlaw legend.
