Overwatch: 7 Cringeworthy Things To Hear As Mercy
I'm not a miracle worker.
With Overwatch's one year anniversary event coming to a close this week now is a great time to look back at the past year on the game. Overwatch has seen the addition of many new characters like Sombra and Ana, as well as significant changes to how some characters are played like the Bastion buff and subsequent nerf.
Many of these changes have created a small group of characters each gamer feels comfortable playing or "maining". Having a core character you feel comfortable playing can place you in an interesting position in Overwatch. It allows you to become highly skilled with that one person, but it can also lead to some unique situations.
If you play Overwatch regularly, you're probably all too familiar with how important having a good support can be. For those of you who play a support role, nothing can be more frustrating then playing with a team who doesn't understand your - and their - roles. Here are a few things that will make every Mercy main hang their head in defeat.
7. "Where Is Our Healer?"
Still right beside you.
Did you think it was pure luck that you survived that Pharah ultimate? No, it was me.
This has got to be one of my favorite things to hear as a Mercy player. As I flit and fly across the map trying to keep as many teammates alive as possible, there is always that one player who thinks they are not getting any love and will constantly be upset that you are not attached to their hip, continually healing them.
All this, despite the fact that the only reason they are still alive is because of you.
