4. Sombra - Bride
Sombra’s legendary Halloween skin feels the most like an actual Halloween costume of the entire pack. The whole ‘ex-wife’ gag recalls the cult chick flick Mean Girls, while the slick new hairdo has shades of the Bride of Frankenstein or Bellatrix Lestrange.
Sombra has one of the best selection of skins in all of Overwatch. Is this her best? More than anything else on this list, that’s a matter of opinion. Each skin seems to suggest something new about her. With her being so secretive and hard to read, it’s up to your own interpretation to figure out what suits her sensibilities best.
However, it just misses out on the medal positions because of the diversity of Sombra’s characterisation. She’s had so many skins and is so elusive and mysterious, it’s hard to fully understand her personality. You feel like she’s the kind of woman who’d wear a plain t-shirt emblazoned with ‘Costume’ to an actual Halloween party.
Because of this, while the Bride skin is cool, it doesn’t strike at the heart of the character like the other three above her do.
