3. Curl Shots From Outside The Box (And Blast Them Inside)

Fill up that shot power bar anywhere between 60-80% and expect to see goalkeepers comfortably palm away powerful-yet-routine efforts. There's no spin on these shots, and that renders them rather useless from outside the box. Anywhere above 80% is going to hit Row Z, for the record, and anything below 60% will be lucky to reach the goal.

Konami have finally taken a page from EA's old play book here and made skilled shots more of a pressing concern.

Curled shots are goalie-killers, especially if he happens to have a defender in his eye line. Time them just right and you won't sacrifice any power either, making the curled shot one of PES 2019's most potent weapons. It's also worth noting that they're not as effective inside the box, or from close range.

Keepers appear to find it fun to perform 'TV saves' in PES, and so successful shooting becomes an exercise in variation and shot placement rather than outright, net-bursting power.
