5. Touch Screen Controller Features

Generally speaking, I'm not really a fan of touch screens. They're fine for phones, but when it comes to gaming, I like the good, apparently "old fashioned" input of a controller; it's what I'm used to, and it helps distinguish gaming from all the other technologies we flippantly employ in our daily lives. Rumours suggest that Sony are ready to unveil a PS4 controller that will have a touch screen in the middle, which players can use to share videos and pictures of the games they're playing with their friends, among other things. While the idea is novel and has potential, I'll have to wait until February 20th (assuming Sony does a full unveil that day) to see for myself; touch screens can be a bit fiddly at times, though as long as this technology doesn't expand to the action input buttons, I can probably deal with it, even if it wouldn't be preferable. Or am I just being a baby? You decide.
