Pokémon: 10 Dumbest Gameplay Features Of All Time
4. Party-Wide Exp. Share
The Exp. Share has been a staple item for the series for years now, and for the most part it's been an awesome tool. For the most part it's been an item that one Pokémon can hold, allowing them to gain a measure of experience from battles even when they don't take part. This, of course, made raising low level Pokémon easier than if you had to keep sending them out for some battle time.
But this changed in X & Y as the latest generation changed the way the Exp. Share worked. Now, instead of allowing you to focus your attention on one underdeveloped creature, every member of your team gained experience as soon as you started battling someone. This meant that your whole team would grow at once, essentially taking all difficulty out of the training process.
This new version of the item was one of many factors that lead to X & Y being considered the easiest games in the series' history. Reverting the item back to its original form would definitely be a wise move.
