Pokémon GO: 10 Essential Features It Desperately Needs
1. Better Server Stability Across The Board

This is the big one. Right now on the game's main Reddit, there's a constant battle going on between how awesome the magic of playing the game is... versus how much of a downer the constant server quibbles are.
At time of writing I can only think of one time I've managed to play for a sizeable few hours without any errors, and even on that same night, the servers still crashed soon after.
The way Nintendo/Niantic rolled the game out i.e. without any pre-release trailers or hype-building gameplay footage, means you can pretty much think of these furtive few months as a glorified beta.
A game of this scale needs time to plateau - time for the developers to identify game-specific issues that come with such an incredibly well-received product, and as any console gamer knows, there's never an online game that launches completely bug-free.
As such, better server stability is out there - we've seen the game run smoothly, after all - it's just a case of identifying the issues and slowly patching each and every one in time.
