Pokémon Sun & Moon: 10 Leaked Rumours You’re Not Supposed To Know

7. There Actually Will Be New Eevee-lutions

When a previous trailer included an image of Eevee surrounded by eight Poké Balls, many viewers took this as confirmation that there would be no new evolution for the popular creature - eight is, of course, the number of evolutions available for Eevee at present.

Other, longtime fans of the series aren't quite convinced, however, and seem to be expecting that the Sun & Moon games will make use of their namesake evolution stones to bring something new to the Eevee family. Up to this point the Sun and Moon Stones haven't had any input for Eevee's future forms, but could now be the time for this to change?

Of course it could; the developers can basically do whatever the heck they want at this point.

Just how they would do this is a trickier question, though, with the obvious Fire and Dark Type evolutions represented by these stones already having been taken. It has been suggested instead that the Sun & Moon could represent Steel and Ghost Types as they have for the game's Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala.

Steeleon? Ghosteon? They'll probably have better names...
