Pokémon Sun & Moon: 10 Leaked Rumours You’re Not Supposed To Know

6. Z-Moves Will Require Timed Player Input In Battles

The mysterious attacks that seem to involve both Trainer and Pokémon have been given a little more exposure of late, and we now know that they will be called 'Z-Moves' in the game. This raises a few questions about the position of the mysteriously absent 'Pokémon Z' from the sixth generation, but we'll have a little more on that later...

For now, let's concentrate on theories around how the Z-Moves are actually going to function in the battles. We know so far that the trainer avatar is linked to the Pokémon to help power the move up, and that a toy peripheral will be available to spruce this up when worn in real life. It looks like this won't be the only real world input for players, however, and we will most likely have more of a role to play than merely tapping one button.

Many commenters have already pointed to a rhythmic, dance focus for the new games and are expecting this to have an input in the use of Z-Moves. With patterns or rhythms most likely being employed through connecting the stylus with the touch screen, players will have to successfully mimic these actions in order to unleash a fully-powered Z-Move.

The last thing you'll want to do is waste that one-per-battle opportunity!
